Who We Are
Michael & Marcy McCarthy have been practitioners of Auditory Integration Training since 1991. Both are certified by Dr. Guy Berard. Both have backgrounds in special education and psychology. The McCarthys' experience does not stop at the threshold of Autism Spectrum Disorder. They have worked with 4,000 families, children and adults with many syndromes and diagnoses and learning disabilities.
Michael and Marcy McCarthy have a combined 17 years in education (actual special education classroom teaching). In addition, they have a combined 25 years of practice in Auditory Integration Training within the United Sates and overseas. They have coached parents in individualized educational program design, making referrals to qualified therapies and medical practitioners in an effort to provide a comprehensive approach for children on the autism spectrum.
